Privacy Policy

1. Who We Are

DealRadar ("we", "us", "our") is an AI-powered sales intelligence platform operated by DealRadar Inc. Our service is available at trydealradar.com. If you have questions about this policy, contact us at privacy@trydealradar.com.

2. Information We Collect

  • Account information: Email address when you sign up or sign in.
  • Deal data: Sales call notes, transcripts, and CRM data you submit for analysis.
  • Usage data: Pages visited, features used, and analysis history within the app.
  • Payment information: Billing details processed securely by Stripe — we never store card numbers.
  • Integration data: Data from connected CRMs (HubSpot, Salesforce, Gong) when you authorize those connections.

3. How We Use Your Information

  • To provide and improve the DealRadar service
  • To analyze your deal data using AI and return insights to you
  • To send transactional emails (sign-in codes, account notices)
  • To send pipeline digest emails to managers (can be disabled in settings)
  • To process payments and manage subscriptions
  • To detect and prevent abuse or security incidents

4. AI Processing

Deal notes and transcripts you submit are sent to Anthropic's Claude API for analysis. Anthropic's data handling is governed by their privacy policy. We do not use your data to train AI models. Analysis results are stored in your organization's account and are not shared with other organizations.

5. Email Integration (Gmail & Outlook)

If you choose to connect your Gmail or Outlook account, DealRadar requests read-only access to your inbox solely to search for emails related to prospects and companies in your active deals. This context is used to improve the accuracy of deal analysis.

  • We only read emails — we never send, delete, or modify any messages.
  • Email content is processed transiently to extract deal context and is not stored permanently.
  • Access tokens are stored securely and used only to fulfill your requests within the app.
  • You can disconnect your email account at any time from Settings → Email Auto-Import.
  • Revoking access in your Google or Microsoft account settings immediately terminates our access.

DealRadar's use of Gmail data is limited to providing the email auto-import feature and is not used for advertising, profiling, or shared with third parties beyond what is described in this policy. Our use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

6. Zoom Integration

If you choose to connect your Zoom account, DealRadar requests access to retrieve cloud recordings and meeting transcripts from calls you have already completed. This data is used to analyze your sales conversations and surface deal insights.

  • We only read recordings and transcripts — we never schedule, start, or delete meetings on your behalf.
  • Recording content is processed to extract deal context and coaching signals; raw video files are not stored.
  • Transcripts and extracted insights are stored in your organization's account and are not shared with other organizations.
  • Access tokens are stored securely and used only to fulfill your requests within the app.
  • You can disconnect your Zoom account at any time from Settings → Integrations → Zoom.
  • Revoking access via your Zoom account settings immediately terminates DealRadar's access.

Zoom meeting data is used solely to provide DealRadar's call analysis features and is not used for advertising, profiling, or shared with third parties beyond what is described in this policy.

7. Sub-processors

We do not sell your data. We share data only with the third-party processors listed below. Each is bound by a Data Processing Addendum (DPA) and processes data only on our instructions. We give 30 days' notice before adding new sub-processors — email privacy@trydealradar.com to subscribe to those notices or to request a DPA.

8. Data Retention

Account data and active deal records are retained for as long as your account is active. Operational records (call transcripts, deal notes, AI analyses, audit logs) are retained for 90 days by default, after which they are automatically purged by a daily cron. Org admins on Enterprise plans can configure a shorter retention period from Settings → Compliance.

If you delete your account or request erasure, all of your data is removed within 30 days, except where retention is required by law (e.g. payment records under tax law).

9. Security

All data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest. Authentication uses Supabase's secure OTP system. We use row-level security to ensure organizations can only access their own data. Payment data is handled entirely by Stripe and never touches our servers.

10. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Request correction of inaccurate data
  • Request deletion of your data (GDPR Art. 17 — right to erasure)
  • Export your data in a portable format
  • Object to certain processing of your data

You can erase your account and associated data directly from Settings → Account → Delete account in the app. For other requests, or if you cannot sign in, email privacy@trydealradar.com.

11. Cookies

We use essential cookies for authentication (session tokens). We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. You can disable cookies in your browser but this will prevent you from staying logged in.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify users of significant changes by email or by displaying a notice in the app. Continued use of DealRadar after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
